In 1993, my husband and I joined Medi-Share. In November 1998, I was admitted to the hospital with congestive heart failure. The doctors tried every medicine and procedure then available to control the problem.

During 2000, there was improvement. My heart rate returned to normal and the heart was in sinus rhythm. But in February 2001, the rhythm and rate became out of control. In June it was discovered that a heart valve had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Now the rate was in a normal range but the heart was not in sinus rhythm. Another cardio-version was done in September.

I am thankful to all Medishare members for sharing my medical expenses, for their prayers and cards, and their faithfulness in caring for each other. I praise the Lord for those who established this ministry. I appreciate the people who have been kind and diligent in processing the needs. Words cannot express how I feel."
